My storytelling sessions are for individuals, couples or small groups, who value photographs with genuine depth and feeling, as well as a cinematic outlook.

I will support you with location and styling recommendations so the setting perfectly aligns with your wants and needs, as well as the depth of the connection you wish to express. After that, we'll slip into your own personal screenplay: It's all about that nostalgic and heartwarming feeling you get when watching a truly good movie. Only this time, it's yours and yours alone! After our time together, my work truly begins: I manually curate and edit every single photograph with the utmost care for tone, atmosphere, and detail. Three weeks later, you'll receive your private online gallery - ready to print, share, and hold onto, whether for your home or your social media channels.

FOR DEVOTEES OF KEEPSAKES & THE MOVING PICTURE
For those who want more than just photographs, the Director's Cut offers everything the Screen Play does, but additionally includes fifteen instant Instax prints to take home, tangible and priceless memories you can always hold in your hands and keep dear to your heart. You’ll also receive four short video snippets, which capture the highlights of the session. These short clips are not only ideal for sharing the joy online, but they're a vibrant extension of your memories, bringing the emotions of the day back to life in motion. On top, you’ll receive a sneak peek gallery just 72 hours after your session, so you can relive your story almost immediately. Your private online gallery will hold the full curated collection, with personal usage rights for printing and social media, delivered to you within three weeks.

I am based in Fontane's beloved Havelland, but I photograph for storytelling sessions throughout Germany and Europe. Please note, however, that additional travel and (for long distances exceeding 300 kilometers) accommodation costs will apply for distances greater than 100 kilometers.

Any weather condition that does not endanger me or my equipment is ideal for me. A nice thing is that every type of weather has its own unique charm and underscores your session in its own way, so I always recommend embracing the weather as inspiration. However, should the conditions be absolutely unacceptable (e.g. heavy rain, storm, extreme cold), the appointment or the location can be postponed.

After we have discussed your wants and needs for the session and you want to proceed, I will send you a quote and the contract. To secure your desired date, I require a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of 25%.

For Storytelling Sessions, you can expect the final results after a maximum of three weeks. However, depending on the package scope, I will send sneak peeks within 72 hours of the session to sweeten the wait a bit. Polaroids are also an option, you can take these with you immediately after the session.

My editing style is a blend of documentary storytelling with a cinematic and editorial perspective. This is reflected in images with muted yet rich and deep colors and an overall cinematic aesthetic with dramatic lighting. I place my emphasis on timeless, emotional shots, which also always includes the deliberate use of black-and-white images. You can get more insights into this in my portfolio.

I send all my results via an online gallery. I do not release RAW files. All of your photos are manually edited by me and shared with you in full-resolution print files and reduced-size web files.

Yes – to both! Upon receiving the pictures, you are contractually granted personal usage rights. You may share and print your images at any time. The only exception is editing the pictures (filters, color post-processing, etc.), which is excluded. Should you wish to acquire commercial usage rights as well, this is possible for an additional fee.
